Volunteering at Minett is a fantastic way to connect, support our school community, and make a real difference. Whether you have just 30 minutes or a few hours, your time matters and we’re so grateful for it!

What is VOLY?

Frisco ISD uses VOLY as its volunteer management system. It's the platform where parents, guardians, and community members can register and complete background checks to be eligible to volunteer in the district.

All family and community members must complete a background check each school year before working with students. This includes participating in field trips, attending programs, and helping in the library or classroom.

To volunteer at Minett:

Step 1: Create Your VOLY Account
Already have an account? Great! Just sign in and submit your updated background check for this school year. 

Step 2: Complete the required background check through the system
Once your background check is approved, you’ll get an email letting you know you’re cleared to volunteer.

Step 3: See What Volunteer Opportunities Are Open
Head over to Current Volunteer Opportunities to explore what’s available and sign up for what fits your schedule and interests.
