Volunteering at Minett is a fantastic way to connect, support our school community, and make a real difference. Whether you have just 30 minutes or a few hours, your time matters and we’re so grateful for it!

What is VOLY?

Frisco ISD uses VOLY as its volunteer management system. VOLY is where parents, guardians, and community members create a volunteer account, complete the required background check, and sign up for volunteer opportunities throughout the school year.

All family and community members must complete a background check each school year before working with students. This includes participating in field trips, attending programs, and helping in the library or classroom.

How to Volunteer at Minett:

Step 1: Create or Access Your VOLY Account

Already have an account? Great! Just sign in and submit your updated background check for this school year. 

Step 2: Complete Your Background Check
Complete the required background check through VOLY. Once your background check is approved, you’ll receive an email letting you know you’re cleared to volunteer.

Step 3: Browse & Sign Up for Volunteer Opportunities

This year, all Minett volunteer opportunities will be posted and managed through VOLY. Once you’re approved, log in to VOLY and select Minett Elementary to see available opportunities and sign up for the ones that fit your schedule and interests.
